1. Saying Your Name 🧑💼
Start by telling your name politely and naturally.
English: My name is Carlos.
Spanish: Me llamo Carlos.
English: I’m Carlos.

Use Me llamo... in formal or casual situations. Soy... is slightly more casual.
2. Talking About Where You’re From 🌏
- I am from Spain — Soy de España
- I am from Madrid — Soy de Madrid
- I live in Barcelona — Vivo en Barcelona
English: I am from Valencia.
Spanish: Soy de Valencia.
“Soy de...” literally means “I am from...”. It is the simplest and natural way to tell where you are from.

- I am a teacher — Soy profesor/profesora
- I work in a bank — Trabajo en un banco
- I run my own business — Dirijo mi propio negocio

Spanish: Trabajo como ingeniero de software.
For students: “Soy estudiante de ingeniería” or “Estudio en la universidad” is correct.
4. Talking About Your Hobbies 🎵⚽

- I love playing football — Me encanta jugar al fútbol
- I enjoy watching movies — Disfruto ver películas
